Chat and voice chat in Hiro's games are for players who've checked their age, so everyone talks with people their own age. It takes about 20 seconds with your camera.
Check your age
Sign in with Google (top right) first: your age group is saved to your Hiro account.
How it works
- It runs on your device. Hiro's age check looks at your camera right here, in your browser. Your picture never leaves your device, isn't recorded and isn't saved anywhere, not even for a moment on Hiro's servers.
- Only your age group is saved to your account: under 13, 13 to 15, or 16 and over. Not your picture, not your face, not an exact age.
- It plays it safe. Each group only talks with its own age, so 13 to 15 year olds never chat with older players. Near the line between groups it picks the younger one. You'll turn your head a little, so a photo can't pass for you.
- Wrong group? You can check once more a day later. An ID check is coming soon to fix any mistakes.

Every typed message is checked by Hiro before anyone sees it: no names, numbers, places, contact details or rude words, and no private messages. New accounts type after their first hour. Players who break the rules lose chat automatically, for longer each time. More in the Terms and the Privacy policy.
