Play Spider Solitaire free
Spider Solitaire uses two decks across ten columns. Build runs from King down to Ace in one suit and they leave the table. Clear all eight runs to win. Start with one suit to learn it, then try two or four.
How to play Spider Solitaire
- Build down: any card can go on a card one rank higher, whatever the suit, like a 6 on any 7.
- Move runs: you can only move several cards together when they're in order and all one suit.
- Finish a run: a complete run from King down to Ace in one suit is lifted off the table onto a foundation by itself.
- Empty columns: any card or run can go into an empty column.
- Deal a new row: tap the stock to deal one card onto every column. You can only deal when no column is empty. There are five deals in all.
1, 2 or 4 suits
With 1 suit every card is a spade, so any run can move together: the best way to learn. 2 suits mixes spades and hearts and needs real planning. 4 suits is the full challenge, and even good players lose many deals. Change it in the menu; each has its own stats and daily deal.
Controls
Drag cards or tap them to send them where they fit best (the same suit is chosen first). Undo is unlimited and Hint shows a useful move (a short ad unlocks three). Keyboard: N new game, Ctrl+Z undo, H hint, Space to deal.
Spider Solitaire tips
- Build in one suit whenever you can. Mixed-suit stacks can't move together and block you later.
- An empty column is your most valuable space: use it to sort cards out, not as a place to park a single card for good.
- Before you deal a new row, make every move that turns over a face-down card. A deal covers every column.
- Play Kings into empty columns only when it helps you finish a run.
